Kamal will talk about his new book – The Life and Times of a Very British Man – and how growing up in 1970s London as a child of a British mother from near Rotherham and a Sudanese father from Omdurman was very different from the experiences of today. He will also discuss the highs and lows shared by entrepreneurs interviewed in his podcast with Rohan Silva, ‘The Disrupters’. He will talk about the daily challenge of providing news in a way that is responsible, informative and accessible to diverse audiences.
