Responsible Travel is the world’s first and leading company dedicated to responsible tourism.   It sells £20m of holidays a year, is growing at 25% a year, and employs over 35 staff in the North Laine.  Founder, Justin Francis is a member of the Government’s Council for Sustainable Business.   Brighton is where the business was born, with seed funding and mentoring from Brighton’s greatest entrepeneur, Dame Anita Roddick of The Body Shop.  Justin will share the founding advice she gave him; the things that make Brighton a wonderful and a terrible place to run a business; and suggest what we might do about the latter.
